POETRY OF THE HOLOCAUST: REVIEWS

“

Above all else, this is a book of voices; a collection not just of poems but also of testimonies: statements, declarations, evidence.

TARA BERGIN, PN REVIEWS

Thanks to the careful and eloquent framing as well as remarkable research, this anthology empowers individual voices and emphasizes their singularity while also honouring their existence as part of larger social groups and solidarity networks.

LOU SARABADZIC, ASYMPTOTE JOURNAL

“

This unique, multilingual poetry anthology explores Holocaust poetry from an innovative angle, aiming to be more comprehensive than previous volumes on the topic, from both a historical and a linguistic point of view.

POETRY

My Taglines are poems made with words and names found on clothes tags and sewn on fabric, with embroidered text in between. The poems are tangible, playful, and subversive, and some are worrying signs of the times. The chapbook contains photos of the Taglines cloths, with the written texts facing them.

Taglines was part of the Crone exhibition at the Wivenhoe Bookshop Shed, from 15 to 20 October 2022.

Taglines was presented in the Over the Sofa exhibition at the Wivenhoe Bookshop in February 2023.
